Linda Lee Smigel recently published Once Upon a Choice through Infinity Publishing. On page 56 she included this interesting mention of our most popular band, also known as “The Orchestra.”

This fact was brought to our attention by our friend Theresa Hahn of The Ritz. As Ms Smigel doesn’t appear to be a past client of ours, we wonder if she enjoyed the band at a local corporate event or friend’s wedding. Regardless, we are flattered!

A “Best of Weddings 2010″ Award from The Knot for Best Wedding Band goes to The Bottom Line band! As an office, we have been honored with this award for the past three years. This year, however, the “Best Wedding Music” category was split it into two: “Best Band” and “Best DJ.” We are still honored that one of our bands was named by the readers of The Knot!

Cleveland Business Connects Connector’s Choice Awards: We have been nominated for Best Cleveland Entertainment for the second year in a row. Readers of the magazine cast 1,948 total ballots between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31, 2009. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 3rd at the House of Blues.

And finally, WeddingWire named us as a winner of their Bride’s Choice Award for 2010. This is the second time we’ve been given this award, which recognizes the top 5 percent of local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service and professionalism.

The Bride’s Choice Awards™ are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through extensive surveys and reviews.

DD is the lead female vocalist for the Cleveland wedding and event band, FasTrack. She may potentially be seen and heard on tv and radio airwaves as part of this wonderful opportunity.

We are entered in this particular contest as a full-service agency, but many of our bands also run as well. So we were very pleased to see that spots 3-5 were taken up by bands from our roster! Redline took the third spot, Heart & Soul placed fourth, and Rick & the Cutting Edge won fifth place.

This couldn’t have happened without our happy clients and supporters taking time out of their day to vote for us. We sincerely appreciate this effort!

We gave Shauna a few recommendations and asked her to visit our web site to have a look at all the great talent we have to offer. She called back within ten minutes to offer auditions to  Frederick Davis of the Jerry Bruno Orchestra, Tiffany Marchak of The Avenue, and our Wind & Sand Bellydancing troupe.

We are pleased to announce that Frederick Davis and Wind & Sand will both be auditioning. Tiffany Marchak is in talks with the producers along with her fiancé, magician Rick Smith, Jr. America’s Got Talent producers have invited Rick to compete on their show in previous years, but due to contracts and appearances on other shows, like ABC’s Master of Champions and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, it hasn’t worked out. Tiffany has previously appeared on American Idol and ABC’s The One.

CBC is having a Connectors’ Choice Awards ceremony and celebration on March 4th at the House of Blues, and one of our newest bands, the InsideOut Show Band, will be entertaining! The Celebration is open to all for networking, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dancing from 6-9 pm.

For the Cleveland-Erie-Toledo Region, Jerry Bruno Productions is the only winner in the Band category and is also named among the winners in the DJ and Ceremony Music categories.

In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility.
 
This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US.
 
Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.
