It’s down to the wire and now that you’ve likely cast your vote in that other election, there are just a few days left to vote for Jerry Bruno Productions at the Fox 8 Hot List contest. In doing so, you can enter to win an HDTV!
Click the Hot List logo to register and vote today! Click on the yellow “Vote” button beneath our five stars and above our photos. You’ll then be asked to register a username and verify your email address (they won’t spam you). We were on top last year, but we’re the underdog until we win this thing!
If you’re still looking for additional services for a wedding or event, this is a great way to find many other vendors that we pal around with — photographers, florists, videographers, caterers and more — and read reviews from past clients who have already vetted them for you. If you aren’t, we hope you’ll still take a moment to show support for us and other local businesses you trust.
We’ve run a positive campaign and are very optimistic about this year’s voter turnout. YOUR vote can make a difference! Vote today!

JUNGLE JAM TO ROAR INTO HOB FOR WORTHY CAUSE
Local Bands Star in Benefit for Bone Marrow Disease Research
Jungle Jam, a rocking benefit for bone marrow disease research, comes to Cleveland’s House of Blues (HOB) on Friday, October 17, 2008. Several well-known local bands will play between 6:30 p.m. and midnight.
Heart & Soul, Blues de Ville, Eclyptic, Horizontal Party and Rusnak Jarrett Jazz will share their unique sounds on the HOB stages. In addition to live music, Jungle Jam will feature a silent auction and special guest appearances. The ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
Proceeds from this unique event will benefit research for bone marrow diseases being conducted at Cleveland Clinic by Dr. Jaroslaw Maciejewski, one of the world’s foremost specialists. Bone marrow diseases are non-contagious, rare and potentially fatal illnesses in which blood production in the marrow is disrupted. Complications can arise, including the inability of blood to clot and susceptibility to infections. Right now, the only cure is a bone marrow transplant.
Jungle Jam was created by Jeff and Sherri Kitzberger of Cleveland Heights, whose 8-year-old daughter, Annalyse, was diagnosed with two bone marrow diseases in 2005.
Jungle Jam promises to be an upbeat, fun-filled event for a worthy cause. Tickets start at $125 and are available now and at the door. For ticket information, call 216-297-9062 or visit www.makeithappen4bmd.org.

“I worked with Pete often…years ago,” said Jerry Bruno. “It must have been fate when he walked back into the office last year. He immediately became our go-to fill-in for many of our bands, and then when we needed him most he was able to step right into this key position. Of course we all miss Chris, but we’re all thrilled to have Pete in the Orchestra.”As a keyboardist, producer, composer and recording engineer, Pete Tokar has been an active member of the areas music scene for over 25 years. As well as performing with numerous area groups, composing soundtracks and jingles, Pete has a long and distinguished discography in the recording industry. He has received several gold and platinum record awards and performed, engineered and mixed the 2008 Grammy Award winning track “In My Songs” by the late Gerald Levert.
Pete has also worked with artists such as Eddie Levert and The O’Jays, The Rude Boyz, Men At Large, Jim Brickman, The Neville Brothers, REO Speedwagon, 3LW (Disney’s Cheetah Girls), Teddy Pendergrass, Anita Baker, The Winans, Tamia, Michael Stanley, and Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley.
In addition to his duties as keyboardist with the Jerry Bruno Orchestra, Pete has spent the last few months working on an album for 2007 American Idol runner-up, LaKisha Jones.(Photo by Christopher Norris Photography)

A special page in memory of Chris Telzerow has been linked from the Jerry Bruno Orchestra page.
Jerry’s talented and adored keyboard player and vocalist passed away on July 4, 2008, after courageously battling cancer. In addition to playing with the Orchestra, Chris lent his talents to Jerry Bruno Productions with his own band, The Wingtips, and created an amazing Billy Joel tribute show called “Piano Man.”
Thank you to everyone who sent kind words following his passing.
