In Loving Memory: Chris Telzerow

Chris Telzerow, 1963-2008Jerry’s talented and adored keyboard player and vocalist passed away on July 4, 2008, after courageously battling cancer. In addition to playing with the Orchestra, Chris lent his talents to Jerry Bruno Productions with his own band, The Wingtips, and created an amazing Billy Joel tribute show called “Piano Man.”

 Thank you to everyone who sent kind words following his passing.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Chris Telzerow and also with the band as a whole. It is hard to see someone go early in life even harder when they have a talent that brings so many so much joy. We had he Jerry Bruno Orchestra at our wedding. Our wedding dance was In Your Eyes by Peter Gabrielle. Chris’s performance was spectacular. We are very saddened by this lost of person and talent in the world.

    Chris was one of the finest musicians I have ever worked with. He was not only a phenomenal player and singer, but a class act, never putting down another musician, but always encouraging others. I worked with him many many times with the Jerry Bruno Orchestra and a few times with just ourselves. He was always the same, no attitude, a person who made you feel good when working with him. The musical world will never be the same without Chris. I miss you Chris and will never forget you. You made a difference in my life. God be with you til we meet again.
